Southwest Eye Care began in Chaska in August 2005. Doctors Amy Freed, Chris Freed, and Chad Dockter joined a partnership and opened the practice in Chaska. The doctors work intensely with all age groups, paying close attention to their individual eye care needs. They also find it extremely important to meet the eyewear needs for their patients. Southwest Eye Care has optical that is fashion forward, sophisticated and fun. Patients of all ages will have success in choosing their next pair of eyewear. The doctors also provide on-site Laser Vision Correction.
The year 2007 was a time of growth and excitement. Doctors Freed, Freed and Dockter expanded their practice into Glencoe; transitioning Family Eye Center to Southwest Eye Care. A month later Southwest Eye Care added the Norwood Young America practice to the family.
The doctors' vision has not changed. They have multiple locations to provide their patients with top notch service with the convenience of less travel. Doctors Freed, Freed, and Dockter continue to offer comprehensive eye examinations. They are extremely knowledgeable in treating and diagnosing eye diseases with the most updated technology for their patients. They
support the communities by participating in local organization and events.
